The Extra Ordinary Give 2018 took place on November 16th and we thank all of our MHALC supporters for being a part of Lancaster County’s largest day of online giving! Our supporters helped MHA raise over $22,000 for the operations needed to offer our community our programs and services.
Every year during the Extra-Ordinary Give, from midnight until 11:59 p.m. that same day, you have the opportunity to go online to our personal giving page to make a gift to our organization. Did you know?
– $25 will provide companionship for an isolated senior struggling with a mental illness.
-$50 will allow MHA to advocate for a child needing guidance through school special education services they are eligible for.
– $100 will provide support services and intervention for someone being released from the hospital for a serious mental illness.
– $500 enables an all-day suicide prevention training for a class of middle or high school students at no cost to the school.

Mental Health America of Lancaster County’s (MHALC) mission is to promote optimal mental health through awareness, advocacy and education. MHALC is often the last line of hope for those with mental illness in Lancaster County. We help over 6000 people each year, many of them to achieve or maintain a state of mental health recovery. Through this, our people can lead healthy, satisfying and productive lives.
