Beach Visualization Practice Video

Beach Meditation– In this meditation you will initially be guided to relax your body with some deep breathing.  During this meditation, relaxation visualization will help you to feel a sense of calm as you picture the beach, ocean, waves, and a gentle breeze in your mind’s eye.  You will also be encouraged to release into the ocean any worries or burdens you are carrying within yourself.  This will help you to create a sense of calm, release, peace, and renewal.  (Six Minute Video)

Butterfly Meditation– In this meditation you will initially be guided to relax your body with some deep breathing.  You will then be guided through visualization to help you to let go and release stress.  In this calming meditation you will picture yourself as a carefree butterfly gliding over a valley, gently in a wind that carries away stress and worries.  This guided visualization will help you to relax your body and create an inner sense of calm.  (Five Minute Video)

Children’s Guided Meditation Video

The Tree, the River, and the Canoe Meditation for Children- This meditation is taken from the book, Starbright, Meditations for Children by Maureen Garth.  In this meditation the child is initially encouraged to relax by finding a comfortable spot and taking some deep breaths.  The child is then guided to connect with nature in a comforting way, by imagining the sun and its warmth, and then with a strong tree, and lastly a peaceful river that the child glides down in a canoe.  These images help the child relax, and connect with their inner stillness & calm.  Guided meditation can help children to improve concentration, develop artistic abilities, help them feel more centered & calm, and allow their daydreaming to be constructive.  (Five Minute Video)
